Zurich 21st October 2015: – Degussa Goldhandel AG will have a stand at the International Coin Show in Zurich for the first time, showing numismatic pieces and also offering the world-renowned Degussa investment bars for sale.
The exhibits will include antique coins, such as the Zurich Thaler, as well as some examples of the oldest Zurich coins from the 13th century. This is the so-called “vierzipfeliger Pfennig” or four-cornered penny, which was produced around 1320. In addition, Degussa will also show a specially selected range of currency and investment coins as well as some of the range of classic Degussa gold bars.
Andreas Hablützel, Managing Director of Degussa Goldhandel AG Switzerland, explains at the show opening: “The Zurich Show, with its numismatic orientation, is the ideal fit for our selected comprehensive range of antique pieces. The organisers of the show, the Zurich Numismatic Association, is the biggest numismatic association in Switzerland, with around 350 members. With over 80 exhibitors, the International Coin Show is one of the most important shows in the numismatic area, giving the leading coin dealers and auction houses the ideal venue for presentation and exchange within the sector. The range goes from coins, medals, international bank notes from various periods, right up to numismatic literature.
The 44th International Coin Show takes place on Saturday 24/10/2015 to Sunday 25/10/2015 in the Swissôtel in Zurich. Degussa Goldhandel AG will be at stand 15/16.
